Chief Engineer
Job Description
- 1. Organize and administer the Maintenance Department, ensuring that effective work control and productivity are maintained, whilst using every means to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- 2. Direct and supervise the implementation of an effective trouble report system, together with other day-to-day works of general maintenance and repair to ensure that the building, its contents and its surroundings are at all times in first-class condition throughout
- 3. Identify and arrange for all necessary work to maintain a high standard whether mechanical, electrical or civil, to be completed in a timely manner.
- 4. Ensure that a full preventive maintenance schedule exists for every item of mechanical and electrical plant or equipment,
- 5. Negotiate terms and conditions for all manufactures / agents and service contracts with the assistance of the controller.
- 6. Keep up-to-date records of all test certificates / licenses
- 7. Conduct frequent meetings with other Department Heads to review the current performance of their equipment.
- 8. Participate in assessing the long-term requirements of the Mall, including overhaul / rehabilitation programs or renewal / replacement works, etc. In conjunction with TMM General Manager – Maintenance.
- 9. Responsible for budgeting and financial planning for the Maintenance Department
- 10. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Skills Description
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 7 to 10 years with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial role in Shopping Mall, Hotel or Hospital managing a team of twenty or more engineers and technicians
- Excellent in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Fluent in English and Arabic

- 1. تنظيم وإدارة قسم الصيانة، مع ضمان الحفاظ على التحكم الفعال في العمل والإنتاجية، مع استخدام كل الوسائل لزيادة الإنتاجية وخفض التكاليف.
- 2. توجيه والإشراف على تنفيذ نظام فعال للإبلاغ عن الأعطال، بالإضافة إلى أعمال الصيانة والإصلاح العامة اليومية الأخرى لضمان أن يكون المبنى ومحتوياته ومحيطه في حالة ممتازة في جميع الأوقات.
- 3. تحديد وترتيب جميع الأعمال اللازمة للحفاظ على مستوى عالٍ سواء كانت ميكانيكية أو كهربائية أو مدنية، ليتم إنجازها في الوقت المناسب.
- 4. التأكد من وجود جدول صيانة وقائية كامل لكل عنصر من عناصر المعدات أو الآلات الميكانيكية والكهربائية،
- 5. التفاوض على الشروط والأحكام لجميع عقود التصنيع / الوكلاء وعقود الخدمة بمساعدة المراقب المالي.
- 6. احتفظ بسجلات محدثة لجميع شهادات/تراخيص الاختبار
- 7. عقد اجتماعات متكررة مع رؤساء الأقسام الآخرين لمراجعة الأداء الحالي لمعداتهم.
- 8. المشاركة في تقييم الاحتياجات طويلة الأجل للمول، بما في ذلك برامج الإصلاح / إعادة التأهيل أو أعمال التجديد / الاستبدال، وما إلى ذلك. بالتنسيق مع المدير العام للصيانة في TMM.
- 9. مسؤول عن إعداد الميزانية والتخطيط المالي لقسم الصيانة

- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو الميكانيكية
- خبرة من 7 إلى 10 سنوات، منها 4 سنوات كحد أدنى في منصب إداري في مركز تجاري أو فندق أو مستشفى، في إدارة فريق مكون من 20 مهندسًا وفنيًا أو أكثر.
- ممتاز في استخدام برامج مايكروسوفت أوفيس وأوتوكاد.
